Chef Charlie will be preparing some complimentary hors d'œuvres and our beverage director Andrew will be creating some seasonal cocktails for the event!

Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer

Kristin Canty & Chef Charlie Foster are happy to support the 18th annual Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer May 8-14th. Many restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and cafes across Massachusetts are partnering together in creating delicious desserts to raise money for breast cancer research and patient care.

All proceeds from the sale of our Spring Dug Parsnip Cake served with a buttermilk sorbet will be donated to Bakes for Breast Cancer Inc and will be put towards the funding the research of physician-scientist Dr. Shom Goel at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Woods Hill Table at the Thoreau Race

Com join the Woods Hill Table team run in the Thoreau School’s 11th Annual Road RaceSunday, May 21, 2017. As the school’s biggest fundraiser of the year, this community-wide event celebrates Concord spirit, fitness, and health. Bring the whole family to run, walk, jog or stroll with us. The 5K run starts at 10:00 am and Kids’ Fun Runs (.5 and 1 mile) begin at 11:30 am and are followed by a family BBQ, bouncy house, awards ceremony, and more.  

All events take place at and around the Thoreau School, 29 Prairie St, West Concord. Pre-register and guarantee yourself a sporty race shirt (first 200 registrants). Registrations are accepted the day of the race starting at 9:00 am. 5K: $25 pre-race ($30 race day). Kids’ races: $15  pre-race ($15 race day). All proceeds benefit the Thoreau Parent Teacher Group (PTG). The PTG supports curricular-enriching programs that foster a love of learning  and enrichment in the Thoreau community.
